Long a fan of the show—I used to set reminders, and made sure I was sitting in front of the TV at the right time, forcing my family to become fans too—I was definitely the target market for this retrospective. I could even remember about half the houses featured here (some are from before I became a fan). It’s a fairly barebones look back—just a summary of what it was like to film, with a picture or three of the houses (always gorgeous). And we’re let in on a secret, too—that the houses were not always finished at the time of the final reveal.

This will make a lovely coffee table book for me (and people like me) when I finally get my hands on it. Recommended.
